"STREET" is a program to reduce poverty and unemployment in Republic of Macedonian through issuance and sale of non-profit and independent newspaper.

Our goal:
 
To contribute towards changing the way the unemployed see their own situation.
 
From the "victims" who should worry the state and its institutions
to begin to see themselves as active citizens who undertake something and using their own capacities to improve quality of life.

 

 Program activities: 

  
1st
. Sale of the newspaper STREET” 

Newspaper adheres to the philosophy of the street newspapers in the world who are members of INSP "
give a hand for work, not for mercy." Dealers are of the order of social assistance beneficiaries, the unemployed with low domestic income and all other unemployed people who want to engage in the activities of the program. 
  
They "buy" newspaper for 15 denars, and sell for 30th Dealers sign agreement for acceptance of the Code of Conduct "and the citizens are identified by
badge. 
Registration for dealers in Bitola and Skopje is in progress.

2nd. Training
 
The program of each vendor provides free training for trades and technical training for communication in sales, money management, social skills and entrepreneurship.

3rd. Club Vendors
 
Organizing club for socializing
for vendors and  the exchange of experience between them.

4th. Promotional / marketing activities of the program "STREET"

 

The aim is through campaigns to increase the sensibility of the respective institutions, business sector, the unemployed and the wider community about the problem of unemployment and socio-economic conditions in our country.
